2014 St. Patrick's Day Parade Festivities

Monday marks  the 2014 St. Patrick's in Missoula. That means this weekend will be filled with St. Patrick's day festivities, including the 34th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade through downtown Missoula.

34th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Parade will kick off at 12pm at the corner of Broadway and Higgins Avenue and ends at Grizzly Grocery at the intersection of Beckwith and Higgins.

Chamberlin Rail Jam

The Chamberlin Rail Jam is an annual ski and snowboarding event right in the heart of downtown Missoula.  The event celebrates the sounds and sensations of winter culture with a winter carnival and the rail jam competition. Festivities begin Friday night and last most the day on Saturday. For a complete schedule, visit www.chamberlinrailjam.com. 

Run for the Luck of it 5K & 7M

Run Wild Missoula is hosting this Saturday morning 5K and 7M fun run in honor of St. Patrick's Day.  For more information, or to register, visit www.runwildmissoula.org.  Costumes are encouraged, the best costumes will be rewarded with prizes.

Draught Works Brewery Festivities

On Monday, Draught Works Brewery will be featuring 5 different stouts starting at 10am when they open up. Swing by for an Irish lunch served up by the Burns St. Bistro. Later in the day, there will be live music by Celtic Dragon Pipe Band, Bob Mislevic on the accordion, and Missoula Irish Dancers.

Sean Kelly's St. Patrick's Day Block Party

The fun starts at 9am on Saturday morning with a specialty celtic menu served all day, brunch until 2pm, and live local music by Shakewell with Ticket Sauce Brigade at 2pm, Cootehill (traditional irish music ) at 5:30pm and Ted Ness and the Rusty Nails at 8:30pm. Then on Monday, get ready for the Block Party. Doors open at 11am and Sean Kelly's famous Annual Irish Buffet will be served until 10pm. At 3pm, catch the Celtic performance of the Circle of Friends to really get you in a St. Patrick's day mood. Music by the Off in the Woods at 6pm, and The Hasslers kick it up at 9pm. A $15 covers the all-you-can-eat buffet.
