5 Things To Do This Thanksgiving in Missoula

Thanksgiving is a day to enjoy quality time time with your family and friends. Here are some things to do this Thanksgiving in beautiful Missoula.

Take a Hike

When the weather is nice and the whole gang is together, why not take a hike! Late fall in Missoula is a great time to take in the last of the open trails before they close for the winter. Enjoy a hike at Blue Mountain or up the Rattlesnake, or stay local to town and enjoy the views from Waterworks or The M. No matter where you land your boots, make sure you have your family and friends in tow.

Trot like a Turkey

Run Wild Missoula's annual Turkey Trot 8K and 3K is a great way to get your Thanksgiving started right! Take a leisurely (or competitive) jog to start the day and then reward yourself with delicious Thanksgiving treats.

See a Movie

The movie theatre is open for business! Enjoy a new release with your loved ones- just be sure not to fill up on popcorn and leave room for Turkey!

Go on a bike ride

Get out in the brisk autumn air and bike along the Riverfront Trail. Or, if you feel so inclined, take the southern route towards Hamilton on the Bitterroot Trail.

Dine out

If you are not one for cooking or are simple wanting to eat out on Thanksgiving, here are some places that are open for business. Be sure to check for hours before heading over to feast! Brooks & Browns, Perkins, Jakers, Finn & Porter, Fuddruckers, Denny's, Cracker Barrell, and IHOP.

If you're giving dry a try this month, Missoula has plenty of spots for mocktails. Check out some of our favorites
