Whether you are visiting Missoula for the first time, or it is your 100th visit to town you will probably be looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat.  Missoula has some outstanding local favorites and flavors, here are a couple of our favorites.

Over at Romaines Salads they are cooking up homemade soups, fresh garden salads, and delicious sandwiches daily.

“We know that our vegetables taste best when they are recently picked, so whenever possible we seek vegetables and other foods that are grown nearby in the soils of western Montana. We will feature Flathead cherries, local tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, and many other vegetables during the summer. In the offseason we seek ingredients that are in season elsewhere but have the flavor to make our salads the best. For example in the winter, California mandarin oranges provide welcome bursts of sunshine packed flavor during days that can get a little gray here.”

Plonk Wine, might not be the newest place in town but it is delicious.

“At Plonk we strive to present a comfortable atmosphere in which people can enjoy the magical union of food, wine, and music.”

At 5 on Black, they bring the sounds, smells and sights of Brazil and then pair it with delicious flavors from the region for a one of a kind dinner.

There is always something new to try around town, a great mobile food cart, or even settle in with a comforting favorite from right here in Missoula, Montana.
