23rd Annual Forestry Day at Historic Fort Missoula

Join us at the SAF Forestry Interpretive Area at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula for a fun day of exciting events. The fun starts at 9:30-4. There will be ax throwing, log rolling, cross-cut sawing, and pole climbing. The Professional Logger Competition will feature Pros, Collegiate and Amateur contestants. There will be demonstrations of restored antique logging equipment. Come and climb to the top of a forest fire lookout or ring the bell on the Shay-type locomotive. The beer garden is sponsored by Draught Works Brewery. Entry fees are $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, $2 for students, $10 for families and kids under 6 are free as are HMFM members.
