Fort Missoula Regional Park Phase I Grand Opening

Fort Missoula Regional Park’s Grand Opening Vintage Carnival and Picnic is a chance for Missoulians and visitors to explore their new park and show support for our community. A free, fun-filled afternoon for all ages!

The Vintage Carnival and Picnic includes:
• Live music
• Sports and games for all ages
• Contra dancing
• Circus entertainers
• Exciting door prizes
• Vintage photo booth
• Phase I ribbon-cutting ceremony
• Guided historical and construction tours of the new facilities
• Food vendors
• Pack mule demonstration
• Historical Museum at Fort Missoula’s annual Forestry Days
• Seersucker Bike Ride to inaugurate the new S. Reserve Pedestrian Bridge

Little Red Wagon Parade
Kids will have a blast parading their decorated red wagon, trike or Strider bike along the park trails to the Bella Vista Pavilion. All participants will win a prize!

Seersucker Vintage Bike Ride
Dress in your finest vintage attire and join Free Cycles Missoula for a 4-mile bike parade. Be the first to cross the S. Reserve Street Pedestrian Bridge on your way to the park. We’ll provide cruiser bikes or bring your own and cruise along the park’s trails.
