Bear Basics: Ecology and Biology of Montana's Grizzly and Black Bears

Want to learn more about bears? Join us for "Bear Basics: Montana's Grizzly and Black Bears" presented by Elissa Chott from the Great Bear Foundation on Saturday, August 26th from 7 to 8pm at Frenchtown Pond State Park.

Montana is home to both grizzly and black bears that fill important ecological niches. Come learn bear biology, ecology, how to identify bear foods and sign, distinguish the difference between the two species, and see tracks, hides and skulls!

This program is FREE, open to the public and great for all ages. Enjoy a fun, educational evening outside learning more about Montana's grizzly and black bears at Frenchtown Pond State Park.
