Skiing and Snowboarding Events in Missoula

With winter weather and events in full swing here in Missoula, the snow is here along with all kinds of skiing and snowboarding activities.  For locals and visitors alike, Missoula offers some fun ways to get out and enjoy the snow right here in town.

From sledding to skiing, and sleigh rides. There is a winter event for everyone to enjoy.  Even if you just enjoy being a spectator.

Ski Events

Here are a few of the upcoming events for Skiing and Snowboarding in Missoula.

January 10th , For women only event begins.  FWO – ski with your friends or make some new ones on Friday afternoons for 6 weeks.  This is a chance to get out and meet some new friends who enjoy skiing,

January 10th-12th, Northern Division Freestyle event at Snowbowl.

January 17th – 26th, Winterfest – Seeley Lake, MT.  Skiing, ice sculptures, and more.  This is a great winter event.  For a full list of events happening at Winterfest 2014, visit our page here.

January 22rd- March 8th, Missoula Alpine Race League – ski every Wednesday for 6 weeks at Snowbowl in teams of 4.

February 1st – Cross Country Ski Touring at Lubrecht

February – Exact dates TBD Telemark Evening Race Series over 6 weeks,  on Thursdays

March 1st-2nd , the 26th Annual Snowboard Jam and Demo Days.  This event is always a fun weekend!

March 2nd Ski and Snowboard with "Race For A Cause" is a ski race and auction hosted by Lookout Pass that will benefit 10 charities throughout Montana, Idaho, and Washington. Skiing and snowboarders are welcome, and if you don't want to race you can just ski for fun!

March 9th , Vertical Challenge at the Snow bowl. This is a fun event to watch!
