Wellness Recreation Shuttles: Milltown State Park

Enjoy the day off by getting out and exploring Missoula's vast and amazing open space system! On this FREE trip we will explore Milltown State Park. The site of a federal Superfund dam removal and river restoration project, Milltown State Park features nearly 635 acres of terrain and several miles of river frontage. It is a small but diverse landscape, ranging from restored river bottoms and mature cottonwood stands to a pine forested bluff above the confluence and dramatic rock cliffs over the Blackfoot River. This guided tour and hike will explore the history of the site while providing scenic views. - All recreation shuttles start and end at the Music Building on Main Campus. - Participants must wear masks at all times while in enclosed and partially-enclosed spaces and when six feet of distance can't be maintained outdoors. - Participants are encouraged to prepare for adverse weather conditions and potentially muddy or icy trails. - Please reach out if any accommodations are needed. Location: Shuttle starts and ends at the Music Building on Main Campus 4.2.21: 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM 4.17.21: 10AM-1:30 PM
