2016 St. Patrick's Day Events

Get your calendar out and start saving the dates for the 2016 St. Patrick's Day events in Missoula.  There is an event for everyone this year with events that range from dances, to whiskey tasting, and the annual parade.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Saturday, March 12th - 11am: The 2016 St. Patrick's Day Parade will follow the main parade route in downtown Missoula.  Along N. Higgins down to Grizzly Grocery at Beckwith & Higgins.

Great Irish Gathering & Banquet

Saturday, March 12th - 6pm:  The Great Irish Gathering and Banquet will take place at the Holiday Inn, Parkside in downtown Missoula.  Meet new friends, enjoy a great night of Irish food, drinks, music and dancing.

Lecture

Friday, March 11th - 6:30pm:  Dr. David Fleming will deliver a free public lecture about the historical relationship between Ireland and the United States.  Dr. Fleming is currently the visiting Professor of Irish History at UM. Lecture will take place at the Kettlehouse North.

Whiskey Tasting

Saturday, March 12th - 2-6pm, The Rhino Bar will feature an Irish Whiskey Tasting - 8 delicious distillations from Ireland will be available.

Dinner

Thursday, March 17th - 6-7:30pm St. Patrick's Day Dinner at the Parish Life Center with St. Anthony's Church.  Music, and traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner will be served.

Dancing

Sunday, March 13th -12-3pm at Imagine-Nation Brewing.  A traditional Irish dance workshop will be offered.

Irish Hurling Game

Saturday, March 12th - 2:30pm:  Don't miss the annual St. Patrick's Day Hurling Game at Loyola/Sacred Heart Ram Field.  The teams competing are National Champions, UM Grizzlies and local team, the Meaghers.  A special feature of this year's game will be Missoula's youth team!

Run for the Luck Of It!

Sunday, March 13th - 9am-2pm Come out and celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a fun run - in green!  Run includes a 400 meter kids race, 7 mile run and a 5K.
