Everything You Need to Know About the Farmers Markets in Missoula

There's nothing more Missoula than strolling through an outdoor market, chatting with local vendors and picking up fresh produce, baked goods, kombucha and more. Our farmers markets looked different in 2020 due to COVID-19 safety precautions, and now we're excited to return to the summer staples we know and love in Missoula. If you'll be visiting our mountain town this summer, be sure to make time for a farmers market or two and eat like a local.

Pro Tips for Missoula's Many Markets

  • Bring your own reusable bags. If you're grabbing plant starts or grocery shopping for the week, consider a wagon!
  • Bring the whole family, minus the dog—most markets don't allow dogs in the main vendor areas.
  • Come hungry and grab breakfast or lunch at a local food truck.
  • Wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes—especially if you'll be hitting multiple markets!
