New Years Happenings In Missoula

2017 is coming to an end, and here are some of our favorite ways to ring in 2018 here in Missoula!

Zeds Dead at The Wilma

The Wilma is the last stop of 2017 for the Canadian electronic duo, Zeds Dead. The show starts at 9PM. Enter to win tickets to the show at www.destinationmissoula.org/logjam -- enter by December 19th to win 2 tickets to the show, a stay at the Comfort Inn, dining gift cards, and more!

Shakewell at The Top Hat

Feeling a little funk this New Years? The Top Hat presents Shakewell and opener Sneaky Pete and the Secret Weapons for a night of mountain folk and dancing. The show starts at 10:15PM.

Live Music at Draught Works

For some pre-dinner entertainment, grab a pint at Draught Works and listen to local musician Jeff Carrol live in the taproom.

Plonk

Plonk will have their annual New Year's Eve celebration and meal, by reservation only. This event features live music by Eden Atwood and a four course meal by Chef Olivia Donovan. There will be a balloon drop at midnight and a champagne toast. Walk-ins are welcomed to dine off the regular menu. It should be a night to remember!

First Night Hat Parade

A great event for children at Southgate Mall, First Night Hat Parade is a great way to stay busy on New Year's Eve Day. The First Night Hat Parade kicks off Missoula’s annual, city-wide First Night Celebration. Children are invited to JCPenney Court on Sunday, December 31, from 12:00-1:00pm to decorate a hat for the parade. Hats and supplies are provided, though pre-made hats are invited to walk in the parade. The parade begins at 1:00pm. Following the parade, stick around for other samples of First Night entertainment and enjoy cookies and juice while you watch.
