The 11th annual River City Roots Festival is August 26th & 27th in downtown Missoula. This annual festival combines art, music, food, craft beer, family friendly activities, and a 4 mile fun run into a weekend that is quintessentially Missoula.
Caras Park, this year the Family Fun Festival on Friday is fun for the whole family. With youth performances on the stage, to fun activity booths including games, face painting, arts and crafts as well as music areas. 11am-5pm
Main Street. The Juried Art Show will showcase high-end visual arts from more than 30 artists around the Pacific Northwest. 11am-7pm

Starts at East Main Street and finishes at Caras Park. Race begins at 8:30am.
Fun for the whole family continues on Saturday with even more live performances on stage, as well as all of the activity booths open from 9:30am-5pm.

Ryman Street, the food court will feature several of the mobile food carts and trucks that call Missoula home as well as many other local restaurants and some of Missoula's favorite treats too. 12-10pm
