Missoula Valley is home to dozens of unique native wildflowers that are a spectacular sight in May and June. In this 2-part course we will first meet in the classroom from 4:00-6:00 p.m. to learn some basics of botany such as flower anatomy, pollination, the evolution of flowers and tips and tricks on how to identify them. In the second class we will hike 1.5 miles at a wildflower hotspot from 9:00-11:00 a.m.where we will see dozens of species blooming.
