Please join artist Cid Wolstein in a reception to celebrate the exhibition Cid Wolstein: New Work. Live music by the Bill Kautz Trio.
The exhibition features 47 vibrant, layered works, including diptychs and triptychs, by the prolific Missoula-based artist. Wolstein uses materials that she has carefully collected over many years to create color-driven paintings that sometimes include text fragments, numerals, and evidence of multiple layers in highly controlled and curated compositions that celebrate the power of color relationships.
According to Wolstein:
COLOR IS KING. COLOR RELATIONSHIPS ARE THE MANIA.
