Words and images together are a powerful form of storytelling, and artists of all ages can combine and juxtapose visual art and the written word and have a great time doing it.
This class will introduce ideas and techniques for creating a short comic based on a lived experience or story. Artists will learn basic illustration techniques, from sketching to storyboarding to layout, inking and coloring. Older teens can participate as well in this jumpstart into the world of graphic novels.
Classes will be held on Mondays.
