Garden City Harvest was established in 1996 to provide local, sustainably grown produce to those in need. We are reviving the tradition of producing our own food for our community, focusing on the 20% of Missoulians who live in poverty. We started small, with a community garden and the beginnings of a student farm – what would become the PEAS Farm – and grew from there.
Mission: We plant seeds and grow together to create a healthy Missoula on our over 20 neighborhood farms, school gardens, and community gardens.
As part of the Community Action Series, Top Hat Restaurant will host a fundraising event for Garden City Harvest at the Top Hat on Tuesday, October 14th where 15% of all food and beverage sales between 3pm – 6pm will be donated to the Garden City Harvest.
This event is part of the Top Hat’s Community Action Series – an ongoing series of events dedicated to raising funds and awareness for local non-profit organizations – brought to you by Groove.
