From spirited parades to lively tailgates, there’s a full lineup of events that will bring our community together in a celebration of pride and tradition. Homecoming Events
- Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - The Hello Walk @ on-campus in front of Turner Hall
- Oct. 10 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - Homecoming Griz on Tap @ Red’s Bar at 217 S. Ryman St.
- Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m. - Distinguished Alumni Award Ceremony and panel discussion @ University Center Ballroom
- Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. - The Yell Night Pep Rally - featuring the UM Marching Band, Grizzly Football team with Coach Bobby Hauck, Singing on the Steps and lighting of the M. @ UM Oval
- Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. - Homecoming Parade - Staging will be in downtown Missoula, near the intersection of Higgins Avenue and Spruce Street. The parade will move south along Higgins Avenue, across Beartracks Bridge and turn east onto University Avenue toward campus.
- Oct. 12 at 12 p.m. - Alumni Tailgate @ the River Bowl Field, located in the second space along the Kim Williams trail at the southeast corner of the Van Buren Street footbridge
- Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. - UM’s annual Homecoming Griz football game vs. Northern Arizona @ Washington-Grizzly Stadium
