Award-winning alt-country band The Mavericks will perform at The Wilma in Missoula on October 17, 2023.

Founded in 1989 in Miami, FL, The Mavericks’ unique blend of Americana, country, rock, and Latin sounds have helped them stand out in the country music scene. Led by the incomparable Raul Malo, their music is a tapestry of influences that transcends genres.

Their 1994 album What a Crying Shame has been certified platinum. They’ve received multiple Country Music Association awards, Academy of Country Music awards and Grammy Awards. Their 1998 hit song “Dance the Night Away” was Grammy nominated for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

The band celebrated the 10th Anniversary of their album In Time with the release of a special Deluxe version earlier this year. It includes the popular songs “Back in Your Arms Again” and “Come Unto Me.”
