The Black Solidarity Summit is an annual event that spreads the awareness of black culture and diversity across Montana. This event is the most important part of the Black Student Union's identity and showcases the work of successful black people across the US, as well as former alumni, and current UM students. Featuring Keynote Speaker: Wilmot Collins, BSU Alumni and the Mayor of Helena. Art, Poetry, an Alumni Panel, Black History Presentations and Trivia will make up this year's event. By hosting this annually, we hope to provide the small population of African descent in Montana a chance to gather and celebrate Black History Month, as well as provide an educational and allyship opportunity for the community.
