Join us for this interactive workshop where you’ll learn to create your own Bio-Char/Charcoal! The final product can be used for many purposes. Whether you want to add it to your garden to neutralize acidity, improve water retention, or throw it into the forge for blacksmithing, we’ll transform old boards into this useful carbon rich material. This workshop will take place at Bad Goat Forest Products (1301 Scotts St, Suite B) where Mark Vander Meer will walk us through the process and show us how to use a charcoal kiln. Dress for the weather and get ready to jump into the process!
Scholarships are available! Email kathleen@mudproject.org to learn more.
