Indie rock icons Death Cab for Cutie will return to KettleHouse Amphitheater on July 29, 2025 with support from Sea Lemon.
Formed in Bellingham, Washington, in 1997, Death Cab for Cutie has cemented themselves as one of the most influential indie rock bands of the past two decades. With a discography spanning multiple acclaimed albums, they’ve earned seven Grammy nominations and a devoted global following. They’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2005 platinum album Plans, which includes the hit singles “Soul Meets Body” and “I Will Follow You into the Dark,” which have over 350 million streams on Spotify alone.
Their latest album, Asphalt Meadows (2022), was hailed as a return to form. Spin called it their “best album in years,” while PopMatters praised its ability to “expand and deepen their signature sound without abandoning it.”
Montana fans know firsthand how magical a Death Cab show can be. The band has delivered two unforgettable performances at KettleHouse Amphitheater in 2021 and 2023, and their 2025 return promises to be just as spectacular.
Plus, fans will get to experience the dreamy, atmospheric sounds of Seattle-based dreampop project Sea Lemon, who will kick off the night. Be sure to check out their standout track, “Eraser.”
