What’s 120 miles long, 37 years old, and nearly invisible? The Clark Fork River cleanup – an amazing story of restoration, recovery, and western Montana’s past, present, and future, all rolled into one. Over the last year, Montana Public Radio’s Nora Saks has taken a deep dive into the history and stories behind America’s largest Superfund site in her nationally-recognized podcast, Richest Hill. Join Nora and the Clark Fork Coalition to hear the stories behind the story; explore the human side of this epic river comeback; and learn why – nearly 40 years into this Superfund saga – what happens upstream matters more than ever right here in River City. Join us at Great Burn Brewing on Thursday, February 20 at 6:00 pm. This event is part of the Coalition’s “River News and Brews” learning series, which keeps citizens informed about hot topics and recent developments in the Clark Fork River watershed.
