A summer day on campus.
Sunset on campus is beautiful in every season. Take a hike and enjoy the view from the trail on Mt. Sentinel. Watching the sunset over the valley is a favorite among students, residents, and visitors.
The Oval at the University of Montana campus is the center of activity year-round. From here, students and visitors can venture to every corner of the campus or take in a play during Shakespeare in the Park as well as view many public art displays or simply sit back and enjoy the view of the "M" on Mt. Sentinel behind the main hall.
The life-size bear sculpture in the Oval stands nearly 7 feet tall and took almost a year to create.
One visit to campus and it is easy to see why the University of Montana was named one of the 20 Most Beautiful Public College Campuses in America.
