From a quick excursion to a lengthier trek, Missoula hiking trails are in no short supply. Zootown boasts over 60,000 acres of wilderness surrounding the town, so your options are truly endless. With the greenery slowly making an appearance, there isn’t a better time to explore the amazing scenery right in our own backyard. Check out a few of our favorites!
Zootown is a biker’s paradise where you can find a ride with elevation gain just as easily as a leisurely cruise around town. Missoula puts the bike (quip intended!) in a bike-friendly city with over 22 miles of off-street trails and 40 miles of on-street bike lanes. Off the pavement, we have a slew of cycling trails waiting to be explored — don’t forget your helmet!
Dust off your waders! With three rivers to choose from, there’s a lot of water (and even more fish!) to explore — reel in the excitement! Missoula’s waters are calling, beckoning expert anglers and beginners alike. It wouldn’t be springtime in Missoula if you didn’t see the fishermen back on the banks of the Clark Fork.
