Winter at A Carousel for Missoula

Winter at A Carousel for Missoula

A Carousel for Missoula opened in May 1995, after the Missoula community came together.  Volunteers contributed over 100,000 hours, as well as donating materials and services for the carousel and the fundraisers.  School kids even collected over a million pennies to adopt four ponies.  Local artisans created the stained glass windows and carved the one of-a-kind horses.

Volunteers still help to maintain the horses and other aspects of A Carousel for Missoula.  A walk into the gift shop and you may even see some of them, hard at work on their latest project.

This winter A Carousel for Missoula is celebrating the holidays along with the community with a few special events!

Santa’s Breakfast

Saturday, December 21 from 9:00am - 10:30am.

Come and enjoy a light breakfast, unlimited carousel rides and chat with the Santa! Reservations are strongly encouraged, because of the limited space inside.

Who would not enjoy a great morning at the carousel with Santa?  Music and unlimited rides, giggles and cheering from the kids.  It is sure to be a wonderful morning at a Carousel for Missoula.

Free Carousel Rides on Christmas Day

Wednesday, December 25 from 11:00am - 3:00pm

Free rides all day long.  Come and join in the community fun,  on Christmas day, downtown at A Carousel for Missoula.

These two special events are sure to bring out the kid in everyone who attends.  With so many different events going on each season be sure to check out their website for the latest information.

The carousel is also wheel chair accessible, just ask one of the volunteers or helpers for more information.  They truly want everyone, from the young to the young at heart, to be able to enjoy this holiday season at the carousel.
