IWFF exists to champion wildlife filmmakers and inspire a new generation to challenge conventional expectations about how we conserve wildlife and habitat. Every spring, this annual event draws industry, filmmakers, scientists, conservationists, and audiences to the heart of the Rockies for this long-standing Missoula tradition. Through diverse programming and community events IWFF celebrates ethical wildlife and environmental filmmaking as well as emerging filmmakers. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the 43rd IWFF will go digital. The public will be able to buy passes and tickets to films and live streaming events. We are excited about thinking innovatively and we are striving for simplicity and accessibility.
