Punk rockers The Interrupters + Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls will team up for a co-headlining concert at The Wilma in Missoula on April 27, 2023 with support from folk punk artist, Chuck Ragan.
Fronted by powerful vocalist, Aimee Allen aka Aimee Interrupter, The Interrupters are a 4-piece, ska punk force of nature rounded out by brothers, Kevin, Justin, and Jesse Bivona. They released the album Fight the Good Fight, in 2018 which included the lead hit single, “She’s Kerosene.” The album reached number 2 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and helped the band get nominated for the 2019 Kerrang! Awards ‘Best International Breakthrough.’ Their most recent album, In The Wild, came out in 2022.
The Interrupters coheadlined KettleHouse Amphitheater with Flogging Molly in Summer 2022. Aimee, originally from Missoula, made a big impression on fans when she knelt down near the pit, giving the crowd a truly up close and personal performance.
English folk-punk troubadour, Frank Turner, started his prolific career with post-hardcore band, Million Dead, in 2000. He went solo in 2005 and has since released 9 studio albums. His most recent album, FTHC, came out in 2022 and peaked at #1 on the Scottish and UK Albums charts. The album received widespread acclaim. NME said the “album marks the return of the slow-burn success story” and Kerrang wrote, “Frank Turner goes back to hardcore and a whole lot more on superb ninth album, FTHC.”
