In Spring 2023, Bozeman-based Grateful Dead tribute band, Dead Sky, will bring their “Drums and Space” themed show to The ELM on Saturday, April 22nd and The Top Hat on Sunday, April 23rd. The show at The ELM will include an opening set from local funk/progressive rock band, Dad Habit, and The Top Hat show will include support from local psych funk fusion quintet, Transcendental Express.
Dead Sky, featuring some of Bozeman’s finest musicians, has quietly been becoming Montana’s premiere Dead tribute band, putting on a top-notch show time after time. In 2022, they played Dead’s Cornell ’77 concert at The ELM and fans had nothing but good things to say about the performance.
Now, Dead Sky is gearing up for their special “Drums and Space” themed show which we can only imagine will be their most psychedelic experience yet. Whether you’re a Deadhead or not, you have to check out this show if you’re a fan of classic rock and local music!
April 22nd is also Record Store Day, so make sure to stop by your favorite local shop to pick up some vinyl! It might be the perfect day to get a fresh Dead record
