Lord Huron was created by Los Angeles-based, Michigan-raised, Ben Schneider. After writing and recording two independent EPs (Into the Sun and Mighty) on his own, demand grew for Lord Huron to perform live. Schneider recruited friends Mark Barry (percussion), Miguel Briseño (bass) and Tom Renaud (guitar). Having first played music together at the tender age of 12, the group reunited and quickly hit their stride, transforming the project into a full-fledged band. Fast forward to today…
They’ve released four full-length albums: Lonesome Dreams (2012), Strange Trails (2015), Vide Noir (2018) and Strange Trails (2021). A few of their top songs include “Ends of the Earth,” “Meet Me in the Woods,” and “When the Night is Over,” and 3x platinum-certified “The Night We Met.”
Lord Huron teamed up with Shakey Graves for a fantastic sold-out show at the KettleHouse Amphitheater in 2019 (photos) and we’re planning for another run of packed shows in 2023. Grab your tickets early and sign up for the Groove Presale below.
