Reggae fusion mainstay Dirty Heads will bring their Island Glow Tour to KettleHouse Amphitheater on June 13th with support from Yelawolf, G. Love & Special Sauce, and Tropidelic.
Hailing from Southern California, Dirty Heads continue to be one of reggae rock’s most widely successful bands since their 2008 debut album Any Port in a Storm. They’ve released eight more albums since including Cabin by the Sea (2012), Home – Phantoms of Summer (2013), Sound of Change (2014), Dirty Heads (2016), Swim Team (2017), Super Moon (2019), Best Of (2021), and Midnight Control (2022). A few of their top tracks include the perfect summertime anthems “Lay Me Down” ft. Rome Ramirez (of Sublime with Rome), “Dance All Night,” “My Sweet Summer,” “Oxygen,” and arguably their most popular track “Vacation.”
Fans who’ve been in the area for a few years have already had the pleasure of seeing Dirty Heads rock the Blackfoot in 2018 & 2021 and can vouch for the Dirty Heads’ energetic live performances. As usual, Dirty Heads are bringing several artists with them to add to the show’s excitement.
This time around, they’re bringing Yelawolf, the Alabama-born rapper known for his unique blend of country and hip-hop; G. Love & Special Sauce, a Philadelphia-based band known for their laid-back blues-infused sound; and Tropidelic, a six-piece reggae-rock outfit from Cleveland.
The last time Dirty Heads came to KettleHouse Amphitheater, the show sold out and we think this diverse lineup is bound to bring an equally large crowd. This type of show is built for a beautiful summer evening on the Blackfoot. Fans can look forward to an unforgettable night!
