Iconic rocker Billy Idol will perform live in concert along the banks of the Blackfoot at KettleHouse Amphitheater on August 31, 2023. Idol will be joined by his longtime band including his collaborator and lead guitarist of over forty years, Steve Stevens.
With his signature punk rock style, powerhouse vocals, and a catalog of unforgettable hits, Billy Idol has cemented his status as a legend in rock history. His 1982 self titled debut studio album was certified gold and included the hit single “White Wedding.” Idol’s second studio album, Rebel Yell (1983), became a major commercial hit, featuring chart-topping singles such as “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face.” The album was certified double platinum and each of the singles had accompanying music videos which were very successful on MTV.
He’s since released 6 more studio albums including Whiplash Smile (1986), Charmed Life (1990), Cyberpunk (1993), Devil’s Playground (2005), Happy Holidays (2006), and Kings & Queens of the Underground (2014). He released the EP The Cage in 2022.
He was Grammy nominated three years (1985, 1987, 1991) for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance and won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Video from a Film in 1990 for “Cradle of Love.” In January, Idol was honored with the first Hollywood Walk of Fame Star of 2023.
