Missoula's professional string chamber group, the String Orchestra of the Rockies, presents its third annual free concert, Thursday, August 17th, on stage in beautiful Bonner Park. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and plan to be up close to enjoy wonderful music by musicians from Missoula and the region. The program will include works by Vivaldi, Glazunov, Ravel, and Dvorak. University of Montana music faculty members Margaret Baldridge and Adam Collins will be featured, and Maria Larionoff is the artistic director.
In case of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to the Recital Hall of the University of Montana Music Building.
If you're giving dry a try this month, Missoula has plenty of spots for mocktails. Check out some of our favorites
