Our second Walk & Talk of the 9th Annual Ceramics Invitational exhibit, will be led in tandem by Jill Oberman & Julia Galloway! Join us as these two long-time friends and talented ceramic artists discuss the artworks featured in this Clayworks exhibition. Radius’s annual show highlights ceramic works hailing from all corners of the country, skillfully crafted to show the impressive scope of the ceramics medium.
We’re incredibly lucky to have two Montana ceramics luminaries leading this talk. Jill Oberman is the current Gallery Coordinator at the Red Lodge Clay Center and was formerly the Director of the Clay Studio of Missoula. Julia Galloway is renowned ceramic artist and Professor of Ceramics at U of Montana.
As one of the ten featured artists in the show Jill Oberman will lend insight into her new work as well as speak on the ceramics created by her fellow showcased artists— Marissa Childers, Sarah J. Conti, Kelly B. Justice, Kyle Scott Lee, Didem Mert, Janina Myronova, Debra Oliva, Justin Paik Reese, & Kate Schroeder. We can’t wait to witness all the fun Jill and Julia will have on Thursday, April 11 at 5:00pm. We hope to see you there!
