Introduction to Sewing Workshop

Are you ready to demystify using a sewing machine? Look no further! In this Introduction to Sewing Workshop, Instructor Liz Simpson will help participants learn the ins and outs of using a sewing machine. From threading the machine and winding the bobbin, to adjusting tension and addressing common problems, this course will leave you feeling ready to take on new projects! This class will also include an opportunity to use your new skills to create a small drawstring bag that you get to take home with you. All materials will be provided for this class!

This class is designed for beginners and open to all regardless of previous experience.

The workshop will be held at the Home Resource Wood Shop (1515 Wyoming St) from 12-4pm with a break at 2pm and plenty of time for questions.

We know that sometimes life comes up and plans change. If you can’t make a workshop, please let us know as soon as possible. The earlier we know you can’t make the class, the better the chance we can fill your spot, ensuring that 1) instructors, MUD, and our partners are compensated appropriately for their time and effort, and 2) other people interested in the class have the opportunity to participate. With that in mind, our policy is as follows:

From purchase until 1 week before the workshop: full refund
1 week to 48 hours before the workshop: 50% refund
48 hours until the workshop starts: Sorry, no refund!**

**Your tickets are transferable at any time! If you have a friend who would like to attend the workshop in your place, you can pass your ticket on to them for free. Just send us their contact info to let us know.
