What better way to spend Valentine’s Day than at an epic on‑campus event highlighting one of the biggest dates of the winter!
Now in its fourth installment, the Griz-Cat Winter Pep Rally is expanding this year and will feature a Rail Jam ski and snowboard competition, showcasing amazing skiing and snowboarding right here on campus. The Rail Jam will bring in rails and snow and allow athletes to throw down their best tricks.
The event is FREE and will take place from 4–6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14, in between the Griz‑Cat basketball games.
Saturday, February 14
2 p.m. – Lady Griz vs. Montana State (Dahlberg Arena)
4 p.m. – Rail Jam competition, cash bar, free Coke products, and hot cocoa (Kim Williams Trail / UM Riverbowl, just north of the arena and Campus Rec Center)
5:30 p.m. – Epic bonfire! (Kim Williams Trail / UM Riverbowl)
6:15 p.m. – Fireworks! (Kim Williams Trail / UM Riverbowl)
7 p.m. – Griz Basketball vs. Montana State (Dahlberg Arena)
In addition to action‑packed skiing and snowboarding, the event will also feature a bonfire, fireworks, music, and drinks, including hot cocoa from ASUM and Monster Energy from Coca‑Cola. Prizes will be given away throughout the afternoon, including free passes to Lookout Pass!
