“Finding Stillness in Motion” Invites Missoula to Pause and Listen
Missoula Crescendo Club’s Well-Being Concert pairs Nordic folk music with an invitation to breathe, unwind, create, and simply be present.
On Thursday, November 19, Missoula Crescendo Club invites the community to experience “Finding Stillness in Motion,” a free Well-Being Concert at Missoula Public Library featuring Wood Works, vibrant arrangements of Nordic folk music arranged for string quartet.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the event beginning promptly at 6:45 p.m. in the library’s first-floor foyer.
Featuring Aria Peters and Logan Indge on violin, Amelia Sears on viola, and Jessica Catron on cello, the program pairs the warmth, rhythm, and vitality of Nordic folk music with an environment designed to help listeners slow down, reset, and reconnect with wonderment.
Host Xavier Kneedler-Shorten will guide listeners through the experience, offering moments to pause, listen, and simply be present with the music.
Audience members may settle into a lounge chair or lie on a floor cushion. Art supplies will be available for those who would like to draw, doodle, or create while the quartet plays. The intention is to offer space for people to engage with live music in whatever way feels natural and comfortable to them.
“Finding Stillness in Motion” is free and open to all. Donations are welcome and support Missoula Crescendo Club’s community programming.
