Get ready to rally, Griz fans! University of Montana Homecoming returns September 29th through October 3rd, bringing a week of Griz traditions and festivities to Missoula. From the Hello Walk and Yell Night Pep Rally to the Homecoming Parade and Saturday's matchup against Northern Colorado, there are plenty of ways to join in the celebration. Homecoming Events
- Sep. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - The Hello Walk in front of Turner Hall on the UM campus
- Oct. 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Homecoming Griz on Tap at Red’s Bar, 217 S. Ryman St.
- Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. - Athletics Tour - Meet in front of the Adams Center for a special behind-the-scenes tour with UMAA and Grizzly Athletics
- Oct. 2 at 5:30 p.m. - Distinguished Alumni Awards - Ceremony and panel discussion at Brantly Hall at the University of Montana
- Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. - The Yell Night Pep Rally and Bonfire - Celebrate with the Grizzly Marching Band, Griz Athletics teams, Head Football Coach Bobby Kennedy, spirit squads, Monte, a bonfire, fireworks and the lighting of the M in front of Main Hall
- Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. - Homecoming Parade - The parade will stage in downtown Missoula near the intersection of Higgins Avenue and Spruce Street before moving south along Higgins Avenue, across Beartracks Bridge and east onto University Avenue toward campus
- Oct. 3 at 12 p.m. - Alumni Tailgate at the River Bowl Field, located in the second space along the Kim Williams Trail at the southeast corner of the Van Buren Street footbridge
- Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. - Griz Homecoming football game vs. Northern Colorado at Washington-Grizzly Stadium
